Mythic Codex ("the App") is an unofficial, fan-made World of Warcraft companion application. Your privacy is important, and this Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
Mythic Codex is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal data with any servers controlled by the developer or with third parties.
All character data displayed in the App is retrieved directly from Blizzard Entertainment’s official Battle.net API.

Mythic Codex does not collect or store personal information, including but not limited to:
API Credentials
The App requires Battle.net API credentials created by the user via Blizzard’s official developer portal. By entering your own Blizzard API credentials, you authorise the app to use those credentials locally to fetch data from Blizzard’s API. These credentials are not transmitted or shared with any third party.
Mythic Codex fetches World of Warcraft character data directly from Blizzard’s official API servers and displays it locally on your device. No personal data (such as name, email, identifiers, device info, etc.) is collected, transmitted, processed, or stored outside your device. Because the app does not collect or process personal data, rights such as access, correction, deletion, and data portability do not apply.
Local caching may be used to improve performance and reduce repeated API requests. No data is stored on external servers. Any locally cached data (e.g., API responses) is stored only on the user’s device and retained solely to improve performance.
Mythic Codex does not share data with third parties. The App does not use advertising services, analytics platforms, or tracking technologies.
The App does not use analytics tools, tracking SDKs, cookies, or advertising identifiers. User activity is not monitored or logged.
Blizzard Entertainment (Battle.net API)
Mythic Codex uses Blizzard Entertainment’s publicly available Battle.net API to dynamically retrieve WoW data. All API requests are made over secure HTTPS connections to Blizzard’s servers. Use of Blizzard’s services is subject to Blizzard’s own policies, including:
Users are encouraged to review Blizzard’s official policies on Blizzard’s website. Mythic Codex has no control over Blizzard’s data handling practices.
Mythic Codex does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since no personal data is collected, no child-specific data is processed.
Because Mythic Codex does not operate external servers or collect user data, data exposure risk is minimized.
